eBay Product Research - Sports Card Finder

This is a new kind of position that we’re testing out. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sports Card Finder to join our eBay team. We’ve been selling on eBay for more than a decade and will shift focus onto Sports Cards. As a Sports Card Finder, you will be responsible for locating valuable sports cards on eBay for our collection. This role requires a deep knowledge of sports cards and the ability to identify their authenticity and market value. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent research skills, and a love for sports memorabilia, we want to hear from you.

The process of identifying cards is extremely specific and much attention to detail is needed. I can send you videos that show precisely what the search will entail.

I will give more detailed training once I find the right candidate. This person will need to be available for live online training with me at the start of the project. Eventually, the work will be done at the candidate’s leisure but it will be almost daily. Most likely, to start, it will be an hour or less of work each day but I hope to build on that. This can become a long-term position that will be base pay and, possibly, commission for the right person.

I'd like to start this job with about 5 hours a week and increase the hours to your desired point once you have the hang of it. Some experience understanding the hobby of sports cards and if you have had experience dealing with graded cards PSA or BGS Cards would be a bonus.

Skills required:
- Extensive knowledge of sports cards
- Proficient in researching and identifying valuable sports cards
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Need knowledge of Google Docs (data entry on sheets, filtering, etc.)
- Need knowledge of eBay (how to navigate, buy/sell, etc.)

Job Description:
1. Search eBay for popular non-graded sports cards that are auctioning or are “buy it now” priced less than the average sold gem-graded (PSA 10) of the same card.
2. Data entry of eBay item ID, current price, average sold price of PSA 10 cards plus links, expected profit, etc. (All will be on Google Docs)
3. I will briefly double-check the sheet & eBay listing(s) for inaccuracies and potential grading. Then purchase the card(s) to get graded to sell on eBay.
4. Once sold I plan to pay out a bonus on profits from sold cards that you found when they sell (tracked on sheets & eBay account).
