Product Sourcer / Purchaser Virtual Assistant

Job Description:

As a Virtual Assistant specializing in Product Sourcing and Purchasing, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring products from various suppliers . This remote position requires a high level of organization, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensure our product inventory meets our client's company's standards and demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Sourcing: Research and identify potential suppliers and manufacturers. Evaluate their capabilities and product offerings to ensure they meet our quality and cost requirements.
Negotiation: Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Purchasing: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including placing orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitive pricing.
Supplier Communication: Maintain effective communication with suppliers to address any issues related to orders, quality, or delivery.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of all sourcing and purchasing activities, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, inventory levels, and procurement performance.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in product sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a remote or virtual assistant capacity.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency with procurement software, spreadsheets, and communication tools.
Knowledge: Familiarity with global supply chain processes, market trends, and product quality standards.
Education: Relevant certification or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
