Qualifications:

Required:

1. Medical scribe and medical background is required

2. Detail oriented, organized, and adaptable

3. Good verbal and written communication skills

4. Must have a basic understanding of medical terminology (including the language and lingo) to catch minor mistakes.

5. Excellent typing and data entry skills with high accuracy (Minimum of 95%)

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Advantage:

1. Ability to track progress effectively

2. Working in a clinical/hospital setup is preferred but not required

3. Scribe certification or completion of a medical scribe training program is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

1. Record patient history, physical exam findings, diagnostic results, and other relevant medical information during patient encounters (Admission notes, routine check-up, follow up exam, etc.)

2. Work closely with 2 main providers producing detail and accurate notes in a Nursing home setup.

3. Able to complete 45-50 notes a day

4. Support physicians by managing patient flow and ensuring that documentation is completed promptly.

5. Assist in reviewing patient charts for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all pertinent information is documented.

6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
