We own and operate multiple Facebook groups in various locations, and we need someone to help maintain the integrity and engagement of these communities.

Your primary responsibility will be to admit or deny new members into our groups, ensure community guidelines are followed, and member requests are responded to.

Key Responsibilities:
- Approve or deny new member requests based on predefined criteria.
- Monitor and remove spam content to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Post content provided by our team and engage with members by responding to comments and messages.
- Approve or decline member posts, ensuring they adhere to group rules and guidelines.
- Enforce group rules and handle any violations in a professional manner.
- Interact with group members, answering questions, and facilitating discussions where appropriate (you will be trained on this as needed).
- Regularly report on group activity, growth, and any issues to the Find My Place team.

Requirements:
- A reputable and established Facebook profile with a good profile image.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in Facebook group management or community moderation is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgments about member approvals and post content.
- Reliable internet connection and the ability to check in on groups regularly throughout the day.
- Trustworthy and capable of managing sensitive group admin tasks.

Why Join Us?
- Be part of a growing company dedicated to helping students find the perfect housing.
- Flexible working hours that fit around your schedule.
- Opportunity to be part of an engaging and positive online community.

If you’re a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining online communities, we’d love to hear from you!

How to Apply: Please submit your resume, along with a link to your Facebook profile, and a brief cover letter explaining your experience with Facebook group management and why you would be a good fit for this role.

Hours:
6 hours a week (time can range depending on the level of member participation in the groups)

Wage:
The first month will be a trial month, at $3.00 USD/hr ($72 USD/mo). If it is still a good fit and I feel you are a worthwhile candidate to continue working with, the wage will increase to $4.00 USD/hr ($96 USD/mo), and can continue upward as trust and output increase.

HOW TO RESPOND:
1. Please submit your resume, along with a link to your Facebook profile, and a brief cover letter explaining your experience with Facebook group management and why you would be a good fit for this role.
2. Include the word “mango” in your response. Why? This lets us see who is actually paying attention.
