Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant & Virtual Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist with financial tasks, including collating payments and receipts, managing customer enquiries via email , and supporting our team with various administrative duties. This is a remote role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic event planning company. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): 1. Collate and organise payments and receipts for events and services. 2. Respond to customer enquiries via the accounts email promptly and professionally. 3. Assist with invoicing and other accounts-related tasks in Xero. 4. Provide virtual assistant support to the team, including scheduling, document preparation, and other administrative duties as needed. 5. Maintain accurate records and ensure all financial documentation is up to date. 6. Assist with any ad-hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the business. Key Requirements: 1. Experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or a related field. 2. Proficiency in Xero accounting software. 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. 5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 6. Previous experience as a virtual assistant is a plus. 7.
