The People Company is hiring for a full time customer support representative for an appliance service company based in Connecticut. The ideal candidate would have experience with customer support functions or any similar role for at least 2 years, also with a background in sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email , providing prompt and courteous assistance to resolve issues.
- Process incoming sales /orders for new appliances.
- Document customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and actions taken in the CRM system for future reference.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor, ensuring a smooth transition and timely resolution.
- Provide product information and usage instructions, helping customers understand and make the most of the company’s products or services.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, aiming to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service or a similar support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Proficiency in using CRM software and basic computer applications
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Good organizational and time management skills
