Job Description:
Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services proposed by Design Managers/Leads and Associates.
Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Manage a company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain.
Responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective expenses.
Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
Assist clients in sourcing requirements.
Involved in value engineering workshops with clients & suppliers.
Meets suppliers/vendors with materials & specs designer for product presentations.
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
Report suppliers/vendors' performance specific to the assigned tasks and create performance improvement plans when applicable to correct any identified performance deficiencies.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience as a procurement officer or related position.
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
Proficient using Google Suite.
Work Set-up: Full on-site, Mondays to Fridays, 8AM-5PM.
