The Role: Safety, Environment and Real Estate Officer

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the research, coordination, implementation, and management of health, safety, and environmental issues including waste disposal, air/water quality, pollution control, hazardous waste, and the safety of APC's structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical management
  • Prepares permit applications and performs health, safety, and environmental regulatory reviews
  • Performs periodic inspections of facility operations, participates in reviews of other facilities' health, safety, and environmental activities, and participates in audits
  • Develops and maintains appropriate documentation to assure compliance with governmental regulations and ESHMS
  • Conduct training regarding Fire Safety, Accident Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Programs, and Electrical Safety, and formulate and implement safety policies, rules, procedures, and standards
  • Manage the implementation of the Environmental Sustainability and Energy Conservation Project to align with ISO 50001 requirement


Who would be successful?

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in an Engineering course, preferably a Civil Engineer or Electrical Engineer
  • With Manufacturing Safety background is desirable
  • With a minimum (5) years of relevant working experience in implementing environment, safety, and health programs gained from a manufacturing, semiconductor, or electronics company
  • Knowledgeable in environmental sustainability program
  • Trained PCO and DOLE Qualified Safety Officer 3
  • Minimal background in facility maintenance
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • An independent contributor with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Must be amenable to work in Rosario, Cavite
  • Working arrangements: 5x a week Onsite, Full time
