The Role: Technical Training Expert

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with management to identify hub's technical training needs
  • Develop training modules and materials
  • Maintain a database of all training materials for the hub
  • Conduct technical knowledge sharing sessions
  • Oversee and conduct direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions and lectures
  • Leading new hire business line transition teams by delivering ad-hoc training, facilitating functional/ refresher and new hire technical training, and updating training modules for systems enhancements/changes
  • Provides one on one or group coaching to assist in the learning of new skills of the employees
  • Support peers and assist with project management
  • Keep attendance and other records
  • Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
  • Monitor employee performance and response to training


Qualifications

Who would be successful?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (EE, ECE, etc.,)
  • Understanding of effective teaching/coaching methodologies and tools
  • Relevant experience in conducting technical training sessions.
  • Have technical knowledge in Schneider Electric products (Power Services, Secure Power, Industry and Digital Services)
  • Proficient in MS Office (esp. Powerpoint); e-learning software knowledge is an asset
  • Highly organized and systematic, able to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, under pressure and minimum supervision
  • Able to multi-task effectively, highly organized, with good planning and prioritization system
  • Keen attention to details, high commitment to quality output
  • Team-oriented; proactive to help and care for the other members of the team
