Summary Responsible for providing remote technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions.

Required Skills

  • Analytical Skills: able to solve issues that might not have a clear solution. Being able to experiment and use trial and error is important.
  • Communication: Possess Excellent English speaking and written skills. Ask questions and listen to customers in order to find out the issue, explain the problem in a clear and understandable way, and give them options for repair or replacement. Good customer service skills.
  • IT Skills: Use diagnostic tools to assess or monitor computer systems; requires mid-level IT skills.
  • Office/Microsoft 365 implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution experience.
  • VPNs: Experience installing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
  • Troubleshooting: must be able to remotely diagnose, repair and test computer problems as they arise.
  • Ability to follow directions: must be able to follow directions from superiors.
  • Willingness to learn: new techniques, retain and use new skills to serve clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Clearly document all actions taken regarding specific client issues into ticketing system.
  • Respond to queries over the phone, or via written communications.
  • Train computer users.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Remotely install, modify, and repair computer software.
  • Remotely optimize computers.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

Must be willing to work in Zeta Tower, Quezon City from Day 1

Must be willing to work Mon to Fri 2pm - 11pm MNL Time
