Senior Salesforce Developer
Salesforce is at the heart of what we do. We seek a problem-solving Senior Salesforce Developer to build and scale mission-critical applications on the Salesforce platform - responsible for all programmatic requests. You will architect/design, develop, integrate, and scale our rapidly growing Salesforce instance. You will serve our end-users and stakeholders and be responsible for building creative solutions with thoughtful, scalable design with the end-user in mind. You are an influential critical thinker who helps define product features and anticipate business needs. This high-impact role will handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities
- Build enterprise-wide solutions with autonomy - responsible for designing, building, and shaping the future of our Salesforce platform
- Work in a no-nonsense team environment, where failing fast and code refactoring are not just spoken words but accepted everyday practices
- Iterate frequently to bring immediate value to internal and external customers
- Develop applications using Apex (classes and triggers) and Lightning Web Components (LCW) to support business requirements
- Configure with declarative automation tools (Flows) when appropriate
- Implement and maintain Salesforce APIs to integrate with other organizational systems
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes
- Adopt a Salesforce DevOps process
- Provide an acute understanding of business situations and Salesforce technical know-how to recommend creative solutions with thoughtful, user-friendly, and scalable design
- Support the Salesforce Admins and cross-functional program teams
What You Will Bring
Basic Qualifications
- 5-7 years of Salesforce developer experience working in a small to mid-size Salesforce team
- Salesforce development experience using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LCW), SOQL and SOSL, triggers, and batch apex
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST, BULK APIs), third-party integrations, and ETL tools
- Programming experience in other languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and data migration
- Hands-on experience building advanced automation and processes using Salesforce declarative automation tools (Flows)
- Passionate about helping others be successful
- Inquisitive and positive mindset in approaching complex problems - excited to take on new challenges and leverage Salesforce
- Flexible - you can pivot and adjust priorities on the fly
- Self-starter that takes initiative - go and see for yourself attitude, doesn’t wait for direction to act
- Extremely detail-oriented and self-sufficient
