This Email Marketing Specialist will supports Campaign & Marketing Managers in multiple regions with email campaigns using either a straightforward approach or a holistic approach depending on the needs of the business. Handles the creation and activation of assets in Eloqua. Monitors the overall campaign performance to provide insights to business partners and to continuously improve customer experience. Helps build an optimized email campaign journey for customers and achieve targets through technical expertise and application of best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Create standard emails in Eloqua using prescribed templates and content provided by the show teams
  • Perform internal testing and quality check to ensure all assets follow the standard quality guidelines
  • Build and ensure timely activation of campaign canvases in Eloqua using the recommend journey and canvas elements/filters
  • Perform internal testing and quality check to ensure all assets follow the standard quality guidelines
  • Build data segmentation canvases in Eloqua using approved data provided by the show teams
  • Provide strategic recommendations to help achieve targets based on campaign performance and campaign best practices
  • Map an email customer journey for shows based on customer’s life cycles
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions with the team and other workstreams
  • Provide campaign insights and feedback as needed by the show teams
  • Manage campaign timelines and ensure compliance on the established turnaround times
  • Facilitate process training and onboarding sessions for new team members
  • Contribute to team initiatives and projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • At least 1 year experience in using Eloqua or a similar marketing automation platform, HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
  • At least 2 years' experience in email marketing campaign management
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
  • Demonstrable experience in being agile and adapting to process improvements and other structural changes
  • Strong ability to initiate improvement and identify opportunities to enhance current processes
  • Passion to develop projects and understanding of the marketing automation discipline
  • A friendly attitude and team player
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to be self-directed
  • Experience in creating a marketing plan or email comms calendar is an advantage
  • Good understanding of customer life cycles
