Your Role:

As a Impex Operations Specialist, You Will

  • Chasing, updating and sending of daily FCL and LCL Transhipment report to Customer Service and Imports operations department.
  • Updating and sending Daily vessel ETA change report to Imports Operations Department.
  • Chasing of missing pre-alert documents with overseas agent that are beyond 5 days after vessel departure or 12 days prior to vessel arrival agreement.
  • Accurate data entry by creating jobs in Expedient. this includes sending of ARN & SCA report and posting of debit notes.
  • Resolve queries for any discrepancy in received pre-alert documents to overseas agents.
  • Provide assistance in Sea Pre-alert & imports mailbox management when needed.
  • Managing of mailbox to ensure all important communications and documents are properly sorted and archived for future reference if needed, this includes categorization and filing away of items to its respective folders.
  • Managing of AIR PH mailbox and ensure all important communications, documents are properly sorted and archived for future reference if needed.
  • Updating of daily air freight report for cargo monitoring purposes.
  • Registering of air freight jobs but not limited to forwarding transactions, Triangle Air/Sea and Brokerage job.
  • Approval and posting of local destination charges, including brokerage jobs.
  • Updating of arrival outturn received from CTO.
  • Sending of Intent to Claim notice to CTO.
  • Coordinate any issue with AU counterpart that may affect completion of a certain task.

What You Need:

  • Deep knowledge in the Freight Forwarding Industry particularly with INCOTERMS, Transit Time.
  • Must have an understanding of the logistical requirements of importers and exporters.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using applications such as Expedient Software, Microsoft office products, MS Office Outlook and the Internet.
  • In terms of records, employee must able to maintain important record such as procedures, agreements, notes to a level where information will be readily available in case needed.
