POSITION SUMMARY:
PCCD is in control of calculating and monitoring of quantity and costing of agreed project budget per project.

PCCD is in control of calculating and monitoring of quantity and costing of agreed project budget per project.
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS:
Control of Approved Project Budget
- Checking and review of prepared APB by project cost engineer before submission
- Checking and validation of inputs of Budget Re-alignment Request
- Assist and review projection of project cost at completion and savings.
- Scrutiny of cost related documents, to ensure that the same is valid to the item/s being billed.
- Validates inputs in Payment certificate (e.g. correctness of deducted recoupment and retention)
- Checks backcharges if applied (if any)
- Preparation of Variation Orders
- Review and validation of variation order/change order prepared by Cost Engineer and ensure that entries and attachments are complete and correct.
- Update and submit monitoring of approval of variation orders for VisMin projects.
- Report Generation
- Check and review CVR correctness and completeness prior to submission of consolidated CVR.
- Ensure that report submission of project cost engineer is within the target.
- Consolidate and analyze CVR for VisMin projects.
- Other Responsibilities
- Coordinate other concerns of Site Cost Engineers (e.g. follow ups on approval and cost related concerns)
- Train and guide newly hired project cost engineers.
- Average communication skills both written & verbal.
