Full time - Bookkeeper/Property Management Assistant

As a key member of our property management team, the Administrative Assistant will support the smooth operation of our services with a focus on bookkeeping. You will manage a variety of tasks to ensure efficiency and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate financial records.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements; manage accounts payable/receivable.
Prepare monthly financial reports.
2. Property Management:
Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors.
Assist in lease management, including renewals and terminations.
Conduct tenant screenings and background checks.
Manage rental listings and advertisements.
3. Administrative Support:
Maintain and update property management software.
Assist with document preparation and filing.
Schedule and organize meetings and appointments.
Manage phone calls and email correspondence.
Provide general administrative support to the company owner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably in property management or real estate.
At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and property management software (Buildium preferred).
Experience with bookkeeping/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Strong knowledge of property management processes and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Availability to work in CST time zone.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home office.
Valid NBI Clearance.
