Procurement Associate

Job Overview:

The Procurement Associate is employed in the Procurement Department and reports to the Head of Procurement. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract position.

Responsibilities:

The set of tasks assigned to this job will include the following list, but can change over time.

• Order and RFQ follow-up with suppliers.
• Following up with ship crews on order deliveries.
• Processing vendor registration forms.
• Work with suppliers to improve delivery performance.
• Update procurement - and other systems to reflect order status.
• Support Purchasing Managers with projects and ad hoc tasks.
• Report results.

Requirements:

The requirements are likely to develop over time, depending on progress and capabilities.

• 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• English written and oral (good level).
• Good communication skills.
• Independent with good task/ work structure.
• Independent structuring of the workday.
• Continuous communication and reporting to relevant colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Carrying out the assigned tasks in accordance with the available process descriptions.
• Attend mandatory courses and other training.

• Contribute with ideas and innovation to support efficiencies and positive factors.
• Pave the way for increasing the scope of tasks being handled in MNL.
• Help to develop Reports (BI) to support measurement and tracking of performance.

As an integrated part of the Procurement Team, continuous, clear and structured communication (oral and in writing), with colleagues in other locations, is essential for being effective in this position.
