Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Time Management Supervision: Validate timecards and trackers to ensure equitable work hour logging
  • HR and Payroll Coordination: Serve as the bridge between HR and payroll departments, clarifying any discrepancies in accordance with company policies
  • Workforce Relations Management: Address time log issues, disciplinary actions, and support performance metrics in a supportive manner
  • Conflict Resolution: Apply superior conflict resolution skills to mediate disputes, maintaining a respectful work environment
  • Onboarding and Support: Ensure a welcoming, smooth transition for new hires into the organization
  • Background Checks Coordination: Oversee background checks to reinforce team safety and trust
  • Team Member Engagement: Drive initiatives to celebrate milestones and foster community and appreciation within the team
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents with sensitivity, aiming for timely and fair resolutions

Requirements:

  • Experience: Background in HR or workforce management, including experience with both employees and independent contractors
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional, empathetic communication abilities
  • Conflict Resolution Skills: Strong capabilities in mediating disputes
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent at multitasking in a remote environment
  • Collaboration: Team-oriented, capable of working closely with HR, payroll, and other departments
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiar with HRIS, time tracking, and payroll software; willing to learn new technologies
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Personal Attributes: Fair, confident, and genuinely interested in team well-being and success
