Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Network Support Level 1 at Vervent. The role is located in Sibulan and allows for some remote work. As a Network Support Level 1, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will troubleshoot network connectivity issues, install and configure network equipment, and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in network support roles, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure, including cabling, fiber optics, and VLANs.
- Experience with network hardware devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Firewall Knowledge: Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are required. Additional certifications related to firewall management are a plus.
