- Provide technical support to Customer Care Specialists/Customer Care Associates and Field Service Engineers on back-up and recovery for Core Applications and Auxiliary databases and replication servers;
- Perform back-up and recovery for Core Applications and Auxiliary databases and replication servers;
- Design and load schedules and automated processes for Regional Office (RO) and District Office (DO) Servers;
- Meet service commitments and assigned deliverables based on service level agreement;
- Participate in production verification activities and developing user interface strategy;
- Monitor and analyze system performance and capacity and report to Database Administration Manager for review;
- Implement, maintain and test database on production and development platforms including replication services;
- Create, maintain and execute work plans;
- Identify and track issues, risks and action items, provide status to affected stakeholders and facilitates its resolutions;
- Implement migration of new builds;
- Configure database server and other related software;
- Install or upgrade new releases of vendor database software;
- Develop and implement database standards including automation of common routines; and,
- Migrate databases across various hardware platforms.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or any IT-related course
- Must have at least 2 years of Database Administration experience
- Knowledgeable in MS SQL, Sybase or other database platforms, basic and advanced programming, and server applicatio
