The Role: Digital Transformation Data Analyst (experience in applied AI/Machine Learning initiatives)

What will you do?

We, GSC Data Office – Asia Hub, are looking for a Data Analyst who has a strong background and proficiency in data management and experience in applied AI and/or Machine Learning, programming languages, and APIs on various data preparation and processing. This role is expected to:

• Spearhead activities and manage projects that would convert manual data activities to automation using applied AI/ML, programming or algorithms, and APIs where applicable
• Work closely with the team on establishing scalable and automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and implementation to contribute to data efficiency, and
• Work across business groups to identify and prioritize business problems and provide sound & automated resolution to address the pain points
  
  

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Graduate of data-related courses such as Data Science, Data Analytics, or IT-related courses related to data activities in nature (data collection, data preparation, data processing, data crunching, etc.)
• At least 2 years of meaningful experience and/or exposure in Master Data, Data Analysis & Visualization, Data Cleansing activities, Operation/Business Analysis, Statistical Analysis, or other data analytical background
• With strong experience in leading and managing various projects (automation projects are a plus)
• With strong experience in applied AI/Machine Learning initiatives, improvements, or projects
• Experience in collecting and preparing data through APIs is a plus
• With experience with data visualization software e.g., Tableau, etc. and/or Advanced Excel knowledge
• With experience with programming & database querying languages (SQL, Phyton, R, RPA)

• Eagerness for Knowledge. Drive the search for answers or research further to strengthen and validate the initial solution in mind, propose a resolution based on experience of the same case or nature, or based on deep research and tested methods.
• Business Acumen. Understand the business and process needs; Present the data in a way that the business understands and most likely be helpful to handle or resolve specific business cases or situations.
• Project Management. Drive and lead automation projects, Monitor and bring action plans to completion, and Ensure delivery of action plans as per the committed timeline.
