  • Directly supports the FM Shared Service Manager - Operations in organizing and managing day-to-day activities or management of business (MOB). This position is highly competent and has detailed knowledge of all FM Shared Service Operations processes.
  • Assists in oversight, review and management of the day-to-day activities of Scheduling & Optimization, Logistics Specialists and Site Logistics and ensures compliance with set Tier 2 and 3 targets, FMT processes, company policies and government regulations.
  • Provides mentoring and training sessions to upskill team members in their work to ensure proper development as well as completions of IDP's. Assists and collaborates with the Manager in evaluations.
  • Main reviewer for reports, payment endorsements and calculations being endorsed by Scheduling & Optimization, Logistics Specialists and Site Logistics for higher approval. Collaborates with Department Heads and Group Head in setting strategic goals as well as in achieving short to medium term goals.
  • Monitors the prices of coal and freight cost daily to recognize trends and to know when to solicit the fuel and vessel requirements. Prepares weekly reports containing the results of research and analysis, and the reasons for price variances and submits to Management.
  • Assists Commercial team in the conduct of coal supply and freight market solicitations/negotiations by preparing the supply and demand forecast based on the generation forecast provided by the Trading Group.
  • Assists Commercial team in the preparation of Terms of Reference for freight solicitations.
  • Programs the coal shipment schedule based on the generation forecast. Develops different scenario plans and cost impact to capture variances in generation forecasts.
  • Assists the Commercial team in providing updates on Short Run Marginal Costs to AP Energy Trading and Sales.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics or Engineering course
  • At least 3 years experience in fuel management Operations
  • Knowledgeable in Commercial Management, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Planning and Optimization, Fuel Management Operations, Relationship Management and Business Process and Governance
