Chief Controller / Accounting Manager (CPA)

The Chief Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing effective financial controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of the organization and supporting its growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.

- Develop financial forecasts and track performance against budget.

- Provide recommendations for cost management and revenue enhancement.

3. Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Design and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Conduct periodic internal audits and address any identified issues.

4. Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity.

- Optimize working capital and manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Identify training and development needs for finance staff.

- Promote a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

6. Strategic Financial Planning:

- Partner with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies.

- Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.

- Provide financial analysis and support for major business initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license

- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance
