GENERAL JOB DEFINITION:
The HR Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle recruitment process and overseeing employee and labor relations to ensure a productive and harmonious workplace. This role involves attracting top talent, handling employee concerns, fostering positive employer-employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Recruitment
- Job analysis and workforce planning
- Crafting of job description and specification
- Sourcing out of candidates
- Screening and shortlisting
- Organizing initial and final interview
- Administering candidate's tests and assessments
- Extending formal job offer and employment contract
- Verifying candidate credentials and background checking
- Onboarding
2. Employee Relations
- Addressing workplace disputes and conflicts between employees or between employees and management
- Providing a process for employees to raise complaints or concerns
- Investigating and addressing grievances fairly and promptly
- Promoting programs and initiatives that boost employee morale and engagement, such as recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
- Conducting surveys and feedback sessions to assess employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
- Ensuring that employment practices comply with labor law standards
- Managing the disciplinary process, including situational reports, notices, and resolutions
- Ensuring that terminations are conducted fairly and legally, and minimizing legal risks
- Serving as a bridge between management and employees by communicating company goals, policies, and important updates
- Encouraging open dialogue and transparency within the organization

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any course with equivalent experience
- Preferably 1 year to 3 years of work experience in related field
