GENERAL JOB DEFINITION:

The HR Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle recruitment process and overseeing employee and labor relations to ensure a productive and harmonious workplace. This role involves attracting top talent, handling employee concerns, fostering positive employer-employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Recruitment

  • Job analysis and workforce planning
  • Crafting of job description and specification
  • Sourcing out of candidates
  • Screening and shortlisting
  • Organizing initial and final interview
  • Administering candidate's tests and assessments
  • Extending formal job offer and employment contract
  • Verifying candidate credentials and background checking
  • Onboarding

2. Employee Relations

  • Addressing workplace disputes and conflicts between employees or between employees and management
  • Providing a process for employees to raise complaints or concerns
  • Investigating and addressing grievances fairly and promptly
  • Promoting programs and initiatives that boost employee morale and engagement, such as recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
  • Conducting surveys and feedback sessions to assess employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensuring that employment practices comply with labor law standards
  • Managing the disciplinary process, including situational reports, notices, and resolutions
  • Ensuring that terminations are conducted fairly and legally, and minimizing legal risks
  • Serving as a bridge between management and employees by communicating company goals, policies, and important updates
  • Encouraging open dialogue and transparency within the organization

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any course with equivalent experience
  • Preferably 1 year to 3 years of work experience in related field
