Position Overview:

The Head of IT plays a critical role in strategic planning, implementation, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure and systems. This role involves leading an IT team, overseeing projects, and ensuring smooth operation of all IT functions. It requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to align IT strategies with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and align IT strategies with the Organization's Goals and Objectives.

2. Develop and maintain a multi-year IT roadmap that includes Technology upgrades, System enhancements and Resource Planning.

3. Oversee the Design, Implementation, and Maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems at both Head Office, Stores and Kiosks across Philippines.

4. Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure.

5. Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

6. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

7. Allocate resources and monitor project progress.

8. Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.

9. Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and ensure the organization is well-prepared to mitigate risks.

10. Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.

11. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.

12. Develop and manage the IT department budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control.

13. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.

14. Ensure timely resolution of user issues and provide technical support when needed.

15. Ensure IT policies, procedures, and practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

2. Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred.

3. 10 + years of Progressive experience in IT Management, with a track record of successful Leadership skills.

4. Strong understanding of Software Engineering best practices, including Agile development, Continuous integration and Deployment and Testing.

5. Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

6. Experience with managing IT networks across Philippines for Stores and Kiosks.

7. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.

8. Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

9. Proven project management skills and experience in managing complex IT projects.

10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

11. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

12. Strong knowledge, experience and proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 platform (Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, Teams, SharePoint etc.)

13. Experience in training End Users

  • Work Location: Chino Roces, Makati near MRT Magallanes station/ San Lorenzo tower
  • Work Setup: On site, though currently we are allowed to have 1 day WFH(once a week from Mon-Fri only – Saturdays must be Onsite)
  • Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays (8:30am to 6:00pm) and 12 Saturdays in a year (8:30 am to 3:00pm).
