The Accounting Manager will head the accounting team, overseeing its daily activities and ensuring that all month-end, quarter-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time. He/She will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring that all accounting processes align with current financial legislation.
- Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
- Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
- Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA
- 3-5 years work experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Highly proficient in key software such as MS Office
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Self-propelled and willing to learn the business
- Knowledge of brokerage business or similar field a plus
