  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

A Logistics Coordinator utilizing a logistics management tool (logistics tool to be identified) would have responsibilities similar to a traditional Logistics Coordinator, with additional tasks related to the use of systems similar to the functions of CAMS Prospero, but NOT LIMITED to its CAMS Prospero.

Job Title:

Logistics Coordinator (Similar roles can apply, doesn’t have to be limited to CAMS Prospero users)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Monitoring Shipments: Utilize tools similar to CAMS Prospero to plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Inventory Control: Use tools similar to CAMS Prospero for planning and managing inventory control.
  • Coordinating with Vendors and Transport Companies: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • Ensuring Unity of Operations: Ensure warehouse, transportation, and customer services work in unity and meet their commitments.
  • Tracking and Fixing Shipping Errors: Track and fix shipping errors using tools similar to CAMS Prospero.
  • Maintaining Detailed Logistics Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation and reporting using tools similar to CAMS Prospero.
  • Improving Logistical Efficiency: Implement new projects and strategies to improve logistical efficiency using insights from tools similar to CAMS Prospero.
  • Compliance: Comply with all company, local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Optimize Routing and Dispatch Systems: Optimize routing and dispatch systems to minimize transport costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate Dispatch and Delivery: Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods with personal drivers or through third-party carriers.
  • Maintain Accurate Stock Lists: Maintain accurate stock lists and manage inventory audit processes using tools similar to CAMS Prospero.
  • Analyze Logistical Problems: Analyze logistical problems and develop new solutions using data from tools similar to CAMS Prospero.
  • Interface with Customer Service Teams: Interface daily with customer service teams to work on order management and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain Communications with Warehouse Staff: Maintain communications with warehouse staff to avoid delays and misunderstandings.
  • Evaluate Existing Logistical Procedures: Evaluate existing logistical procedures and refine them for greater efficiency.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) can be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in logistics or transportation
  • Preferably proficiency with logistics and supply chain management software (ERP systems), specifically CAMS Prospero.
  • Excellent Communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
