Job Description

Customer Service

• Helps customers think through their whole banking relationship and understand how products fit together
• Proactively seeks to establish and understand customers’ real needs and expectations,
• Monitors customers’ accounts and portfolios providing regular market updates and advice through regular calls and meetings,
• Takes full ownership of customers’ requests and proactively follows up on any agreed actions,
• Takes responsibility for resolving issues with customers’ portfolios ensuring complete satisfaction of problem solution,
• Meets agreed service targets,
• Complies with all Citibank’s policies and procedures.

Sales

• Makes appointments and meets with clients in the branch or externally.
• Meets with walk-in customers in the branch.
• Provides advice and product information to customers, outlining features and benefits
• Helps the customer understand which product or investment would best suit their needs, offering alternatives as appropriate.
• Identifies cross-selling opportunities and refers leads to the appropriate channels for follow up.
• Engages the support of specialists to provide technical advice to customers when necessary.
• Meets agreed sales targets. Knowledge
• Keeps up to date with new banking products and services; their features, benefits and details.
• Is up to date with compliance and operational procedures.
• Paperwork & Administration
• Completes all paperwork and updates all systems accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follows up with back office on customers’ applications etc.
• Responds to all client and internal emails in a timely manner

Additional Duties

• Assists with other duties as required such as internal training, networking events and product seminars.
• Participates in the ‘daily huddle’ with the rest of their colleagues in the branch
