Main Responsibilities
- Ensures that all cash and check collections from the clients are reflected to their account by accurately and timely.
- Ensures that client accounts are debited for the cash deliveries by promptly posting to client’s account before the actual cash delivery
- Checking the account details on the deposit slips for cash and check deposits before the validation.
- Performs EOD Balancing:
- Ensures that all Cash Center unit’s settlement accounts are monitored.
- Ensures that ATM test cash card balance is at full value
- Ensures Net Cash Balance is zero
- Check collections tally with local and Regional check clearing plus LFC and Items held for safe keeping. (vs records with Accounting staff)
- ATM Loading and Retrieval Ticket balance with encoded transaction in EPA
- BPurch generated Report tally vs the total Bills Purchase slip.
- Inspects check technicalities to ensure that checks will not be rejected or returned from clearing due to technicality. Likewise, accept and process checks in accordance to the updated procedures to minimize the unit’s exposure to risks, fraud, errors and floats
- Coordinates with the Approving Officer for the error corrections with justifications and reverse within the required time. Ensure that error correction takes place before the posting of the correct entry/validation.
- Scanning of checks for clearing. Ensure total checks scanned are successfully transmitted.
- Ensure compliance to existing procedure and policies of the bank. Ensure to read and follow regular guidelines and broadcasts regarding updates to eliminate problems resulting to client complaints
- Performs other duties that are essential to his function and those that may be required by the management.
- Graduate of any 4 year Bachelor’s/College Degree, preferably related to Business, Banking or Finance
- Adept in the needed MS Office systems
- Willing to be assigned in Tuguegarao
