We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. If you are fluent in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero and have a knack for organizing debits and credits efficiently, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files, including debits and credits, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile accounts, manage general ledger entries, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare and book journal entries for various financial transactions.
  • Generate and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Provide support during audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement accounting processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work with sophisticated accounting systems, inventory management, and building procedures to optimize financial operations.
  • Manage relationships with large clients, ensuring that their financial needs are met accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with sophisticated accounting systems and inventory management.
  • Ability to organize and manage debits and credits efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with large clients and managing their financial operations.
