Job Description: Business and Process Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform the duties and responsibilities of a business analyst including but not limited to, (a) process and/or data analysis, (b) perform requirements gathering, (c) conduct interviews with clients, (d) creation of presentation materials (e) and others.
· Take an active role in projects, including but not limited to assignment to client site, as needed. This also includes, among others, reporting to the project manager and/or practice lead.
· Perform training on applications and solutions offered by the Business Unit.
· Perform research on best practices, industry standards and methodologies that will be utilized during the project.
· Conduct investigations to explain and propose resolutions to process or data concerns resulting from generated output.
· Actively collaborate to ensure project proposed solution is delivered on-time, on-budget and within specifications. As such, work with colleagues, clients, principals and other relevant personnel in project implementation and other related tasks.
· Create project documents such as, but not limited to Requirements Documents, Interface Documents, Functional Design Documents, Test Plans, Training Plans, etc.
· Prepare materials and conduct process or system walkthrough with business users.
· Coordinate with principals’ technical support, as applicable.
· Provide consulting services to customers.
· Support testing activities with customers such as User Acceptance Tests, System Integration Tests, among others.
· Ensure good relations with people and stakeholders involved in the project.
· Actively participate in initiatives or collaborate in developing and enhancing the business analysis and project management practice.
· Support other tasks and assignments that may be given or assigned. Work may also include other tasks within a Business Intelligence / Data Mgt / Data Warehouse / Big Data projects.
· Help manage deliverables and documents, etc. in the project.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year relevant work experience as a process or business analyst
· Analytical thinking
· Inclined towards creation of documents
· Good communication skills
· Ability to quickly adapt to changes
· Experience as a service provider is an advantage
