Responsibilities:
- In charge of maintaining data-driven content operations within the team, re-arranging story assignments as needed to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets.
- Manages the editorial budget, from payment of contributors, maintaining boosting budget, and optimizing budget allocation to editorial priorities.
- Provide assistance and advice to the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Publisher in matters concerning decisions regarding content.
- Act as the group advisor in reminding schedules for deadlines and in making sure that it’s data-driven, and that quality will still be at its finest besides strict deadlines.
- Work with editors, staff writers, and contributors to generate data-driven and data-informed story ideas, video themes, social content etc.
- Prepare and organize projects and provide guidelines to writers, video editors & content producers to follow.
- Delegate work assignments to writers, editors, video producers, art directors, and digital content staff.
- Review and evaluate all stories, videos, articles (content) prior to uploading in order to identify and avoid unnecessary problems such as libel, inaccuracy, plagiarism, wordiness or lack of clarity etc.
- Supervise arrangements for shoots.
- In coordination with the other departments such as Revenue Growth, Summit X, Audience Growth etc. to make sure they meet the requirements and deadlines set.
- Assign and manage the workload of the entire content staff.
- Produce articles/content as needed, desired, or assigned.
- Meet daily deadlines set for own department and ensure all staff does as well.
- Keeps track of a database of all content contacts such as writers, videographers, contributors, models, artists, etc.
- Other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/Media, Journalism, Humanities/Liberal Arts, Linguistics/Languages, Mass Communications, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Can handle contributor submissions; look out for talent and lead hiring process whenever needed
- Able to cover press conferences, worthy events, and other scheduled interviews and represent Summit Media in a professional manner
