Frontline Logistics Coordinator (Senior) is responsible for ensuring on-time and cost-efficient availability of the material and installation tools. S/he is in charge of supervising & coordinating the daily activity of local logistics providers. Frontline Logistics Coordinator (Senior) provides support to Frontline and Area Logistics Manager to manage Frontline logistics performance and ensure timely support and information to technicians, supervisors and project managers.

What will you be doing?

  • Supports the review of project level logistics cost budget (pre-calc)
  • Maintain and initiate cost saving activities and ensure data completeness and accuracy for reporting.
  • Execute logistics safety programs with internal functions and external service parties, e.g. logistics service providers.
  • Plans and organizes transport of material from DC to FL. He/she also handles the customs/broker related information management.
  • Manage clearance related activities and ensure broker’s compliance.
  • Plans and orders delivery of materials from local warehouse to site.
  • Coordinates Logistics execution with locally outsourced logistics provider if applicable and monitors provider’s performance.
  • Manages the consolidation of local materials for site delivery.
  • Coordinates site delivery of installation tools.
  • Orders transportation or additional services from logistics providers as requested
  • Reviews invoices/PO differences and clarifies these and manages the correct posting of logistics cost to cost categories and projects
  • Ensures replenishment for stock material

  • Logistics management
  • Warehouse management
  • Management of third-party logistics provider
  • Logistics management systems
  • Basic business and supply chain education (e.g. bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
  • Good understanding of delivery process management and shipping related terminology, contract, legislation and cost control
  • Fluent English skills
  • MS Office tools and ERP usage skills
  • Minimum 5-year experience in logistics management or comparable activities
  • People leadership experience is an asset
