As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and supporting our clients’ needs. You will collaborate with our sales team to deliver technical solutions, demonstrate product features, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit and monitor customer activities (existing and including upcoming mines and projects).
  • Search for prospect/information through customers, consultants, associations, financial institution and door-to-door visits.
  • Improve product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Maintain good relationship with customers and contacts
  • Whenever possible, promote product support commodities, spare parts, auxiliary equipment and service products.
  • Make weekly sales visit plan.
  • Prepare draft quotations, faxes and letters.
  • Maintain proper use of company assets.
  • Report lost orders.
  • Achieve the pre-set yearly sales targets.
  • Analyze the customer needs and assist them in the selection of equipment.
  • Coordinate closely with customer to ascertain the technical information required for their evaluation.
  • Evaluate customer specifications.
  • When applicable, supervise equipment start-up of newly purchased equipment at customers’ site.
  • Evaluate market development.
  • Actively collect competitors' data for analysis
  • Actively participate in Sales Promotion, exhibitions and mail campaigns.
  • Support Finance Department to collect payment from customers when required.
  • Any other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or related role.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in mining operations.
  • Required at least (1) year related experience selling to mining and construction customers.
  • Degree in Mechanical / Mining Engineering
  • Licensed Engineer would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills
