Project Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and closing of projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of project plans and schedules.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications and approved submittals. Ensures materials approval is submitted within schedule.
• Provide technical support and guidance on engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality guidelines.
• Providing data with respect to variation orders/field change requests and site instructions.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure project stays within budget.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and suggest improvements.

Job Specifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical.
• Must have a current license to practice from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• With at least 5 years work experience in the same field.
• Well verse in international and local codes, standards, and regulations.
• Decisive with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• With 40-Hour Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) certification or seminar.
• With experience in construction projects & design.
• Willing to work in Alabang.
• Can start ASAP.
