  • Coach and mentor employees to meet performance standards, and hold regular sessions to discuss performance, resolve grievances, and provide guidance.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring employees are informed of their options.
  • Assess benefit needs, recommend programs to management, and assist with claims, demonstrating our commitment to integrity and employee well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with government and regulatory requirements, reflecting our commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Oversee investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings as needed.
  • Prepare, update, and recommend HR policies and procedures that align with our core values.
  • Ensure these policies are communicated and followed throughout the organization, maintaining high standards of integrity.
  • Maintain historical HR records and ensure accurate documentation of all HR activities, supporting transparency and accountability.
  • Counsel and discipline employees, planning and monitoring their performance to achieve desired results.
  • Provide regular and timely reports to the Managing Director, President and Board of Directors on HR activities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Support the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed, aligning with the organization's goals and embodying its core values.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Human Resources Management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices
  • Experience in performance management, events management, coaching and HR Systems
  • Proven ability to lead HR teams and manage HR operations effectively
  • Experience using data to develop innovative and impactful HR initiatives
  • Familiarity with database management systems like Airtable
  • Interest in traditional and digital arts, multimedia, IT and game development is a plus
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and processes is an advantage
