JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources and Admin. Director is responsible in developing and implementing HR plans and programs aligned with the overall business strategy. He or she partners with the leadership team to execute the organization’s talent strategies particularly as it relates to talent acquisition, retention, training, labor relations, salary and benefits administration. He or she leads the development and delivery of programs on strategic planning, organization development, workforce planning and optimization, employee engagement, performance management and succession planning.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources

  1. Develops talent acquisition and retention strategies to meet human capital needs of the organization and to ensure the achievement of the company’s strategic goals.
  2. Oversees the recruitment process from sourcing, interviewing, selection, background check and onboarding. Ensures that job vacancies are filled up following identified lead times and the best candidates are selected based on the requirements of the job.
  3. Implements robust search initiatives to generate applications from social media, online platforms and linkages from local employment offices, colleges and universities.
  4. Oversees the employee onboarding process and assimilate new hires effectively.
  5. Plans and administers employee’s salary and benefit programs of the company. Reviews final payment prior to release.
  6. Implements performance reviews of all employees on a semi-annual basis.
  7. Develops rewards system to recognize and reward meritorious performance.
  8. Conducts salary reviews. Establishes the compensation structure for all employees based on market pay surveys while maintaining internal equity.
  9. Administers attendance and timekeeping and payroll processing. Reviews Attendance Summary and Payroll Register prior to finalization. Immediately resolves employee concerns on underpayment and overpayment.
  10. Oversees the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  11. Leads all Employee Relations activities to strengthen relationships between managers, supervisors and employees.
  12. Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to a resolution. Ensures complete documentation of employee violation and disciplinary action. Ensures consistent application of the Code of Conduct and Labor Code of the Philippines in conducting administrative investigation and in handling labor cases.
  13. Implements and manages employee engagement and health/well-being programs while ensuring diversity in the workplace.
  14. Ensures all HR practices are aligned with company policies and applicable laws.
  15. Ensures Training Needs Assessment (TNA) is conducted on a periodic basis to identify training and development needs of employees. Harmonizes TNA results along with Performance Appraisal Forms of employees. Incorporates results in the Individual/Annual Training Plan.
  16. Conducts relevant training programs to bridge the gap and build people capabilities.
  17. Actively collaborates with subject matter experts and line managers in the design, development and delivery of training programs (behavioral training, functional training, compliance training and systems innovations).
  18. Acts as a “Change Agent” and assists Top Management by developing change initiatives to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement and develops communication plan to articulate and drive organizational change. Provides direct support and coaches managers and supervisors to adopt and cope with it.
  19. Organizes meetings with Top Management to help leaders develop strategic plans, manage change, improve processes, redesign organizational structure and clarify roles and accountabilities.
  20. Develops and leads HR initiatives on job analysis, job evaluation, Performance Management and Rewards System, manpower planning and career and succession planning. Ensures job descriptions and individual performance metrics are up to date and are issued to new employees prior to job induction, to newly promoted employees and to employees who are transferred to other departments.
  21. Works closely with management and employees through execution of employee engagement activities based on calendar of activities

Admin/IT

  1. Ensures timely renewal of Business Permits, Mayor’s Permit, Fire Certificates of all sites.
  2. Ensures timely renewal of Office Fire insurance and car insurances.
  3. Ensures proper filing, archiving and retrieval of HR & Admin records.
  4. Checks controllable costs: office/janitorial supplies and utilities costs.
  5. Ensures complete inventory of all IT assets.
  6. Ensures timely conduct of preventive maintenance on all IT equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and other allied courses.
  • At least ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of progressive experience with five (5) years of which is spent in executive role.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft software on MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
