Overview:

We are seeking a Mobile Developer to build a mobile application for capturing and processing healthcare form data via document scanning. The role involves integrating mobile camera functionality, OCR technology, and syncing the data with backend systems that connect to healthcare platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with building secure, HIPAA-compliant healthcare applications.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy a mobile application (iOS/Android) that allows healthcare professionals to capture images of simplified healthcare forms.
- Integrate mobile camera APIs and document scanning SDKs to ensure high-quality image capture and text extraction.
- Implement OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies to extract and convert handwritten or printed form data into machine-readable text.
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure that the data is securely transmitted and mapped into external healthcare systems.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance throughout the application development process, focusing on secure data transmission and storage.
- Conduct thorough testing on different devices to ensure optimal performance, image processing, and OCR accuracy.
- Implement user-friendly interfaces to allow healthcare professionals to correct OCR errors and verify form accuracy.
Monitor and maintain the app post-launch, including updates for security, compliance, and performance.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Developer for iOS and/or Android using technologies like Swift, Kotlin, or cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
- Strong experience with mobile camera APIs, image processing, and document scanning SDKs (e.g., Scanbot, Adobe Scan).
- Familiarity with OCR technology, such as Tesseract, Google Cloud Vision, or AWS Textract.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare security best practices.
- Experience in working with REST APIs to integrate with backend systems.
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and secure data transmission.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on healthcare-related mobile applications.
Knowledge of patient data workflows and integrations with healthcare platforms.
Experience with data validation and error correction workflows.
