Work Setup: Office-based (Philexcel Clark, Pampanga)
Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Schedule: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM PH Time Zone (Morning Shift)
Holidays to follow: PH Holidays
Salary Budget: Php 20,000.00 – 30,000.00

They were established by a US-based Hedge Fund and have been experiencing rapid growth despite the ongoing pandemic and financial market woes. Our client engages their sponsors in the fields of Financial Quantitative Research, Data Engineering, DevOps, Applications Development, Cyber Security, and High-Performance Computing.
The successful candidate will help build the client’s best practice process to streamline his workflow and systematize the business.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A JUNIOR WEB DEVELOPER
Your Responsibilities as a Junior Web Developer would be:
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices.
- Create website layout/user interface by using stander HTML/CSS practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the website.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual, design intent.
- Assist the web development team with all aspects of website and application design.
- Assist with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end applications.
- Brainstorm new tech applications such as digital storage and mobile technology.
- Collaborate with developers to implement new web features.
- Be up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends.
Qualifications as a Junior Web Developer:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline is strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of work experience in web development/programming or a similar industry is strongly preferred. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Must have a knowledge of WordPress and PHP
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Have programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
- Good understanding of web design and development principles.
- Knowledge of software prototyping and UX design tools.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web application development.
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, and network analytics tools.is a plus
- Basic knowledge of the Search Engine Optimization process.
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
- Budgets with business insight.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems.
- Strong conceptual thinking, resourceful, diligent, and keen attention to detail.
