We're looking for candidates who can work at Sta. Rosa, Laguna in a morning shift schedule and hybrid work set-up (4x a week onsite and need to report for 12 Saturdays in a year - schedule of Saturdays will be shared during onboarding).
Job Title: IT Business Analyst (Mid-Level)
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis or related roles.
Key Skills:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Skilled in analyzing and gathering business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translation of Needs: Ability to translate business needs into detailed and concise requirements documents for developers or project teams.
- Software Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of software development processes, systems, and technologies.
- Testing & User Support: Experience in supporting both testing phases and end-user training.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business needs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Business Analysis:
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and current systems to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Use analytical tools to map out processes, identify gaps, and recommend changes or enhancements.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain clear and concise user stories or user requirements (UR) that align with business objectives.
- Develop detailed requirements documentation and ensure all stakeholders have a common understanding.
Test Case Development:
- Define test cases, scenarios, and plans based on gathered business requirements.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure that the system adheres to business requirements during testing.
Testing Support:
- Lead and conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with stakeholders and developers.
- Troubleshoot issues during testing and ensure timely resolutions are implemented.
User Manuals & Training:
- Create and maintain user manuals, quick reference guides, and other support materials.
- Provide user training and post-deployment support to ensure smooth transitions for end-users.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills for liaising between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation software.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
