The role in a nutshell:

We are seeking an experienced Philippines Payroll Specialist with a sound background in payroll whether that was gained through an in-house system or by working for a specialist bureau. .

How you will make a difference:

  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately.
  • Comply with payroll-related compliance e.g. SSS loan & listing, PHIC, HDMF & 1601C form.
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.
  • Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this.
  • Determining payroll liabilities.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Philippines payroll software.
  • Government Statutory Reports and Remittances preparation
  • Preparation of final pay for resigned or terminated employees
  • Close monitoring of overtime, leaves, tardiness, and absences
  • Monitoring of employee’s loans and cash advances
  • Fulfills all governmental regulatory mandates and ensures filings are performed as required. Registers new employees with SSS, Pag-big, and Philhealth and ensures timely posting of Employee and Employer contributions.
  • Prepares and monitors monthly government-mandated reports and benefits of the following: SSS, BIR, Philhealth, & Pag-Ibig (processing of loans, sickness, maternity, and Philhealth certification for hospitalization)
  • Responsible for the proper, accurate, and timely processing of Last Pay schedules for all endorsed resigned employees Manage and address all receive loan issues on payment postings.
  • Prepares various regular payroll reports including statutory requirements and alphalist.

What will give you an advantage:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, or any related courses
  • Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience specializing in Human Resources.
  • With strong mathematics and analytical skills.
  • Must have a strong background in end-to-end payroll management.
  • Advance knowledge in MS Excel & MS Office.
  • Knowledge of payroll policies, practice, procedures, reporting, and related legislation.
  • Well-versed in Philippines Labor Law.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time to meet deadlines.
