Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester with a strong background in automation testing and manual testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Design and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and project specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings as part of an agile development team.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and manual testing
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright for automation testing.
  • Exposure to NodeJS is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with API testing and web services (RESTful APIs)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient within a team environment
