Job Purpose:
The Statistical Analyst supports the business by identifying opportunities for growth, identifying risks and optimizing costs through data mining and use of advanced statistical techniques.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Process and analyze data using statistical techniques into profiles of customer segments and/or behavior that can be used for:
ü Product creation and design.
ü Target marketing, cross-selling/up-selling, advertising and promotion, and other marketing-related initiatives.
ü Optimizing collection strategy.
ü Branch, ATM, dealer and other channel expansion strategy.
· Oversees the Profiling of customers to identify valuable and risky segments as inputs to credit management strategy.
· Formulates and test/validate models on customer behavior and maintain these models by analyzing post-campaign results, success/failure rates and integrating new behavior into the database.
· Develop, monitor and maintain statistical models for measuring propensity to take-up of cross-sell/up-sell marketing leads.
· Regularly monitors take-up rate and other metrics that are useful in improving the campaign programs are necessary. Monitoring reports are provided (usually monthly) to the EVP and MCG counterparts.
· Maintains and ensures integrity of databases used for statistical analysis, modeling and reporting.
· Develops and implement data collection strategies.
· Documents and review all modeling and reporting efforts.
· Ensures that the division meets the Data Security Standards of the bank.
· Supports other units in projects that requires supporting analytics.
· Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
· At least 3 years of work experience in business intelligence and analytics.
· Preferably in banking or consumer industry
