Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Design Engineer at Maxtec Solutions Philippines Inc located in Mandaluyong. The Solar Design Engineer will be responsible for designing solar power systems, conducting PV and electrical design, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of solar systems on-site. Additionally, you will ensure seamless integration of solar technologies into various projects that include residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

  • Design on-grid, hybrid, and off-grid systems, following industry standards for electrical safety and reliability.
  • Answer inquiries from potential solar PV system customers.
  • Conduct thorough technical analysis of solar projects, evaluating performance expectations, energy production estimates, and financial viability.
  • Address and resolve any design challenges to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
  • Efficiently output solar PV system designs within a particular time frame.
  • Identify potential design obstacles before the installation of solar PV systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Preferably licensed in the respective field.
  • At least one year of experience in the same capability
  • Proven experience in solar design and engineering
  • Proficiency in relevant design software
  • Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic technologies, energy storage, and related systems.
  • Familiarity with local and national regulations governing solar installations.
  • Must have hands on experience
