Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our team, focusing on government contracting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching government contract opportunities and writing high-quality proposals that meet all compliance and solicitation requirements. This role is essential in driving our success in the government contracting space and requires someone with excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify government contracting opportunities through various databases (e.g., SAM.gov and state government websites).
Write, prepare, and submit proposals that meet the specific requirements of government solicitations.
Gather necessary documentation and ensure all proposals are compliant with government standards and regulations.
Draft and edit correspondence related to bids and proposals.
Maintain a structured system for tracking bids, deadlines, and proposal statuses to ensure timely submissions.
Collaborate with internal tea m me mbers and subcontractors to gather required information for proposals.
Analyze data from previous bids to improve future submissions.

Qualifications:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with significant experience in proposal writing.
Proven experience as a Proposal Writer or grant writer, with a focus on government contracting or proposal management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant software tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
Problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with government databases (e.g., SAM.gov ) and resources for contract research.
Experience with compliance documentation and certifications required for government contracts.
Knowledge of project management and proposal management software.
