Copywriter

Role

As a content writer you will be tasked to develop written communication materials for Publicity For Good for various purposes, including press releases, blog posts, news site articles, advertorials, and profiles. As a content writer you will create and continually improve content for our brand.

Responsibilities

• Do research on topics and develop press releases and features with compelling angles to promote Publicity For good and our clients.
• Proofread and improve existing and newly created content.
• Enforce the voice of the brand in all content pieces.
• Work alongside the publicity team to ensure content addresses SEO best practices.
• Weekly manage E News to send to clients and nurture prospective clients.
• Write articles for all contributing platforms that the CEO writes for.
• Write guest blog posts and articles positioning our founder and company as a leader in the space.
• Weekly write short content for social media celebrating client wins of the week.
• Write blog posts celebrating client wins of the week.
• Manage the blog writing schedule for the agency with an editorial calendar.
• Experience with copywritting for paid ads is a bonus!

Results

• Writing is consistent, clear and concise.
• Writing materials accurately represent the mission of our brand and our clients.
• Timely submission of written materials.
• Written materials are saved to a respective folder on the PFG team drive for reference.

Requirements

• Should have prior knowledge and experience in professional writing.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Self-sufficiency with ability to take initiative and problem solve creatively.
• Attentive writing skills with a passion for creating well-researched and written content.
• Experience with SEO and blog writing.

• Payment for this position is $520 to $625 a month.
