The Role

Responsibilities

  • Provides emergency and palliative care and treatment to employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility such as first-aid treatment, checking of vital signs, health interview, dispensing of medicine;
  • Assist company physician during check-ups and consultation.
  • Response to employee's health concern, give sound advice and referrals.
  • Assess and determine the health status of the employee which includes recommendations like sending home or back or fit to work:
  • Refers/transports ill employees to the hospital as necessary;
  • Conducts weekly inventory of medicines and medical supplies and submit monthly medicine consumption report to Accounting. Prepares purchase requisition of such as necessary to ensure availability at all times;
  • Conducts home visit or follow through of employees with chronic illnesses or on prolong sick leave as requested by immediate superior.
  • Coordinates and facilitate company wellness programs in promoting healthy and productive work environment.
  • Implements immunization programs to employees as well as to the dependents;
  • Conducts periodic plant tour to determine any possible health and safety hazards. Create health and safety awareness among employees;
  • Conducts periodic audit of canteen for sanitary and health controls and ensures their compliance to company requirements;
  • Conducts health education programs; raising awareness on prevention of communicable and contagious disease

Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Healthcare & Lifesciences and Industrial and Registered Nurse
  • You have working knowledge of Basic Life Support and Occupational Safety and Health
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
