Job Title: HR Manager
Position Summary: The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources management within the hospital, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves strategic planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and professional development to support the hospital's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare professionals.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and resolve conflicts or issues.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and programs.
- Performance Management:
- Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers on evaluations.
- Implement performance improvement plans and develop training programs as needed.
- Policy Development & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- Review and update HR policies to reflect changes in regulations and best practices.
- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Implement orientation and training programs for new hires to ensure compliance and quality care standards.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage payroll processes and employee benefits programs.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
