The E-commerce Merchandising Associate is primarily responsible for day to day operations particularly gathering data and reports preparation for the group to be able to execute ecommerce merchandising strategies across all categories and channels that are consistent and align with the brand’s and business objectives. They ensure that application of product planning such as display, search, navigation, tagging, assortment in an online store will serve its purpose of providing the customer a delightful online shopping experience that increases online conversion. They should provide organized, accurate and timely reports that will allow the group to formulate actionable insights that tell a compelling story that includes both offline and online retail knowledge and experience driving conversion and capturing customer demand.

Responsibilities

Merchandise Planning and Strategy

To handle brand OTB, in collaboration with RBM in determining budgets and gives recommendations to ensure appropriate buys and inventory management.

To prepare reports, and gather data to allow the team execute specific strategics that is aligned with the organization’s merchandising and product strategies and goals and client's or brand's goals and objectives to Improve overall key performance metrics on a day-to-day level. Closely monitor key performance metrics and pinpoint issues, gaps and opportunities that the group can capitalize on.

Product Planning

(Tagging, Searching, Listing, Promotions and Discounts) Organize and manage product pages across different online platforms, ensuring that products are tagged correctly and displayed the right way, identifying best sellers, key trends & stories to maximize visibility and conversion. To closely monitor product assortment by providing organized, timely and accurate reports relating to inventory, discounts and promotions to optimise web conversion and maximize revenue potential.

Consumer and Market Awareness

Gather market insights and trends to ensure the group fully understand trends, gaps and opportunities in order to optimise listings, increase merchandising efficiency and improve conversion.

Account Servicing

Consolidate orders of partners and prepare purchase orders (PO’s) for submission to principal and ensure confirmation of order. Coordinate and negotiate with regional partners and brand principals regarding samples, orders, ex factory prices, MOQs and brand building support and activities. Oversee timely and quality delivery of goods as committed to partners and its payment. Coordinate with the customer, importation, Accounting and

Finance department in facilitating the arrival of goods. Manage partner complaints on products and take appropriate actions to ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare and maintain files of Remittance Advices (RA’s) and secure copies of corresponding bank receipts. Assist in monitoring and evaluating the sales performance of assigned brands. Prepare monthly reports for the assigned brands as updates to management.

Analytics and Reporting

To gather and collate data for the team to be able to benchmark and capture relevant market insights which in turn will assist in improving customer proposition, journey & conversion and to drive sales & margin. Analyze on a per brand level and day to day functions.

Customer Service

Generally internal facing or within teams.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other related field.

2.At least 1 year of experience for a retail company. E-commerce background is a plus.

3.Business/Management Skills: Report organization

4.Technical/Professional Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in MS Excel. Power BI and analytical skill is a plus
