  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We seek a dynamic General Legal Counsel to lead our legal department, ensuring our company’s legal compliance and risk management. This pivotal role involves steering corporate housekeeping, corporate governance, and data privacy and security measures. The General Legal Counsel will also serve as the compliance and risk officer, working closely with and presenting to our board members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support on corporate matters, including governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations, particularly in data privacy and security.
  • Manage corporate housekeeping activities, including overseeing, maintaining corporate records, and preparing documentation for board meetings.
  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to promote compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Act as the compliance and risk officer, identifying potential legal and compliance risks and developing strategies to address them.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel as needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide legal support for business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Present legal matters and updates to the board of directors and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Mid to senior-level experience in a legal role, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
  • Proven experience in corporate governance, corporate housekeeping, compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and security measures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with board members and senior
