Hello! I am looking for a dedicated and talented video editor with a keen interest in true crime to join our team. If you're familiar with true crime videos, you may be the ideal candidate.
Requirements:
- Love watching true crime documentaries.
- Available to work at least 5 days a week.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A fast learner who thinks outside the box and can effectively execute the scenes.
- Proficient in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro.
Task:
- You will be putting together videos and pictures where we narrate true crime stories ranging from 15 to 25 minutes.
- Knowledge in B-rolls to perfectly depict the scenes.
- Download clips using video downloader applications.
- Add overlays to make the video entertaining to watch without overdoing it.
- Decent working setup that could render 1080p videos for YouTube easily.

3. Create a 2-Minute Video: Use the voiceover from the link below to create a 2-minute video. You may use actual pictures and clips of the case, or B-rolls if you believe they better depict the narration.

4. Recreate Sample Videos: At the bottom of this post, you'll find a few sample videos. Your task is to try to recreate them, utilizing the resources and details outlined in this job posting.
5. Submit Your Work: Once complete, upload the 2-minute video to Google Drive and send me the public link.
Judging Criteria:
- How well you depict the scenes.
- Correct character angles and the appropriateness of clips used (B-rolls, pictures, timeline sequence)
- The video quality and rendering settings used.
- Consistency of volume control throughout the video.
- How well you follow these instructions.
